The aim of the group is to provide a peaceful space to meet and spend time with others experiencing similar challenges, as well as improve self-care, support networks, wellness and coping strategies through participation in group activities including equine assisted therapy (EAT), art and creative activities, relaxation and mindfulness skills.
Sister Strength Workshop
This workshop is designed to help women become more self aware while making empowering choices. Addressing depression, grief, anger, anxiety, codependency and transforming them into strengths.
UR Horsome Your Workshop
Encouraging 14 – 18 year olds to explore important skills such as dealing with peer pressure, managing familiar obstacles and distractions, developing positive body image and making empowered choices.
By offering a regular supportive and safe space to focus on yourself it is envisaged that the benefits of attending the group will extend to your home and family life, and therefore assist in reducing the impact that anxiety can have, on not only the individual, but those around them.
Education, skills and experiential activities will be provided through group discussion and activities including equine assisted therapy (EAT), art and creative activities, relaxation and mindfulness skills facilitated by the Blue Moon Wellness team of Jen Black, Psychologist, and Louise Campbell, Life Coach and Art Therapist.
At Blue Moon Centre for Wellness, Creativity and Growth, we believe that everyone has their own answers within, all they need is a little guidance to support them to make life changes.
Our workshops will be located at Moonbi, near Tamworth NSW
A minimum of six participants are required to run the workshop.
